A new arrival…

I don’t usually post personal stuff on this blog but I wanted to share this.

Emily Rose Adcock was born at 15.55 on 15th November by cesarean section. She was a week overdue and weighed in at a rather hefty 8lbs and 15 oz.

The strangest thing was that Suzy barely put on any weight during the pregnancy and all the way through people would comment on how small her bump was. We’re still not sure where our nearly 9lb daughter has been hiding, but as she is quite long (58cm) she must have been curled up tightly somewhere.

Emily is of course beautiful and lovely, despite looking like a cross between Winston Churchill and that angry baby pic you see everywhere. It could be worse of course, she could look like her proud Dad!
